The Role
You’ll run a full 360 recruitment desk, driving both business development and delivery for UK-based infrastructure and engineering clients — all from South Africa.
This is a chance to own your market, build relationships with leading UK contractors and design firms, and deliver high-quality placements on some of the UK’s biggest infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: business development, client engagement, candidate sourcing, interviewing, placement, and compliance
- Build relationships with UK-based clients — from project directors to engineering managers
- Source and place roles such as:
- Site Engineers, Section Engineers, and Site Agents
- Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineers
- Project Managers, Project Controls Managers, Planners, and Quantity Surveyors
- Deliver on live roles while building a personal pipeline — target R500,000+ gross margin per month (~£20k GM)
- Leverage advanced tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM, UK job boards) to source top talent
- Maintain strong compliance and documentation across all placements
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 5 years of 360 recruitment experience, ideally in engineering, infrastructure, or construction
- Proven billing record with the ability to ramp up quickly to R500,000+ GM per month
- UK market experience preferred, but top-performing SA 360 recruiters will also be considered
- Strong business development skills and the ability to independently grow a desk
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, commercially driven, and outcome-focused
