Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Paying between £33,600 - £38,700 (Depending on experience)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bathroom Fitter & Joiner to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the complete installation of high-quality bathrooms, from initial rip-out to the final finishing touches. You will work on a variety of residential projects, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship, on time, and within budget. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of bathroom installation, including first and second-fix joinery, plumbing, tiling, and fitting of sanitary ware, showers, and bathroom furniture.
- Interpret design plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and a high-quality finish.
- Manage on-site project workflow, coordinating with other trades where necessary and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, answer queries, and ensure complete customer satisfaction upon project completion.
- Undertake fault-finding and problem-solving for any issues that arise during the installation process.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bathroom Fitter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Joinery, Carpentry, or a related trade.
- Proficiency in first and second-fix joinery, basic plumbing, and wall/floor tiling.
- Full UK driving licence and own set of professional tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with high-end or bespoke bathroom installations.
- Basic electrical knowledge (e.g., safe isolation, fitting lights/extractor fans).
- CSCS card holder.
