Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Audit Testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans specifically focused on audit trail functionality, data logging, and system compliance across our digital platforms.
- Traceability & Validation: Verify that every system action, user transaction, and data modification is accurately recorded, time-stamped, and easily retrievable in line with industry standards.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software bugs and logging anomalies, collaborating closely with developers and product teams to ensure swift resolution.
- Test Automation: Build and maintain automated test scripts to continuously validate the integrity of our audit logs, reducing manual testing overhead.
- Compliance Collaboration: Partner with our internal security, risk, and compliance teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, robust test cases.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven QA Experience: At least 3–5 years of dedicated software testing experience, with a strong focus on backend testing, data verification, and system logs.
- Database Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills to query databases, manipulate test data, and validate that audit records match physical database transactions.
- API & Integration Testing: Strong hands-on experience testing APIs and microservices using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar frameworks.
- Automation Tooling: Solid experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
- Analytical Mindset: An exceptional eye for detail with a passion for data integrity, security, and uncovering hidden system discrepancies.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working within highly regulated environments where strict audit trails are mandatory (such as fintech, healthcare, or e-commerce).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerised applications.
- Understanding of security compliance standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or PCI-DSS.
