We are looking for a Frontend Developer in Leeds to help us create fast, accessible and polished web experiences. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers and product colleagues to turn ideas into features that users rely on every day.
What you will do
- Build and maintain responsive, high-quality user interfaces
- Translate designs into clean, reusable components
- Integrate frontend features with APIs and backend services
- Write tests that keep the codebase reliable as it grows
- Improve accessibility and performance across the product
- Take part in code reviews and share knowledge with the team
- Contribute ideas to improve our tooling, workflows and user experience
What you will bring
- Solid experience with JavaScript and ideally TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue or Angular
- Strong HTML and CSS skills, including responsive design
- A good eye for detail and care for the end user experience
- Comfort working with Git and collaborating in a team
Nice to have
- Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG
- Experience with frontend testing tools like Jest, Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright
- Familiarity with REST or GraphQL APIs
- Experience improving web performance
