Role Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Retail Cashier to join our team. As the primary point of contact for our customers during the checkout process, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently by processing cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Provide a high standard of customer service, greeting shoppers and addressing enquiries regarding products or promotions.
- Accurately maintain the till drawer, ensuring all receipts are organised and discrepancies are reported immediately.
- Assist with the bagging of items and ensuring the checkout area remains clean, tidy, and fully stocked with essential supplies.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding health and safety, age-restricted sales, and data protection.
