Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will play a crucial role in the development lifecycle, identifying bugs, verifying fixes, and ensuring our applications meet the highest standards before they reach our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual and automated) to ensure software quality.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and defects, working closely with the development team to see them through to resolution.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple platforms.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, providing feedback on requirements, user stories, and design specifications to foster a quality-first mindset.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a software quality assurance or testing role.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with bug tracking systems like Jira and test case management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development lifecycles.
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certification.
