Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Metro Manila. This role is designed for a quality assurance professional who excels in both manual testing methodologies and automated testing frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications to increase testing efficiency.
• Conduct thorough manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify bugs that automation might miss.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define clear acceptance criteria.
• Document and track software defects using Jira, ensuring detailed reporting and timely verification of fixes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by identifying bottlenecks and suggesting modern testing tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are an advantage.
