Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality standards for our software products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify bugs, improve test coverage, and streamline our CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust automated test suites using Selenium or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software stability after updates.
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and document defects in JIRA.
- Participate in sprint planning and provide estimates for testing efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or Software Tester.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
