About the Company:

A fast-growing consumer goods company on a mission to eliminate single-use plastic from personal care routines. With a range of refillable, natural products including deodorants, body wash, haircare, and lip balm, the business has scaled rapidly since launching in 2020 and is now one of Europe’s fastest-growing start-ups.

The Role:

The company is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage the supply plan—from purchasing and manufacturing to delivery of goods to fulfilment centres. This mid-level role reports into the Supply Chain Lead and involves supplier management, stock control, production planning, and logistics coordination. The successful candidate will also support cost and margin improvement initiatives and ensure supply readiness for new product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Planning & Reporting

  • Lead the ordering process, raise purchase orders, manage production schedules, and ensure supplier readiness for launches
  • Produce reports to track stock levels, stock cover, and supplier performance
  • Support cost-of-goods and margin improvement through supplier negotiations and process optimisation
  • Collaborate with commercial and demand planning teams to align supply with forecasts and campaign plans
  • Consider sustainability and ethical impact in supply chain decisions

Inventory Management

  • Partner with fulfilment teams to ensure stock levels meet direct-to-consumer and retail demand
  • Improve end-to-end supply chain performance and identify cost optimisation opportunities
  • Support monthly planning processes to align production, inventory, and sales
  • Develop contingency plans and manage supply/logistics risks
  • Monitor inventory health, reduce ageing stock, and ensure FIFO compliance

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ years of supply chain experience, ideally in skincare, beauty, or FMCG
  • Experience with third-party packaging/component suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets); experience with Brightpearl is a plus
  • Commercially minded with experience tracking KPIs and supporting margin initiatives
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passionate about sustainability and the company’s mission

Benefits:

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + additional remote working days
  • Hybrid working (3 days/week in London office)
  • Company pension contribution
  • Mental well-being support
  • Private healthcare
  • Weekly early finishes and social events
  • Annual learning & development budget
  • Free breakfast and discounted products
  • Volunteering days (team and personal)
