Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Associates to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing their own clients base from various market segments, including corporate, group, and leisure. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, send RFPs, negotiate terms and contracts, and represent HelmsBriscoe at industry events to promote our brand and services.

REQUIREMENTS: You will be responsible for the development of your customer base and the facilitation of site-selection searches and contract negotiations. The ideal candidate is a highly driven, passionate and ethical sales professional who puts their clients' success as their top priority. You should have five years of experience in group sales for a hotel, CVB or other related meeting industry role with a strong track record of successful new client development and/or convention management and execution. Strong salesmanship, prospecting, and planning abilities are required, as well as basic skills in Microsoft Office.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a sales or meeting planning role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel sales processes and market segmentation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
- Existing network of corporate or MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) clients.
