Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Generator to provide dedicated sales and business development support for a junk removal, construction cleanup, demolition, and debris removal business.

The Lead Generator will identify, research, and organize qualified government leads and contract opportunities while supporting outreach, follow-up, and business development efforts. The ideal candidate has experience with government leads and contracts, is comfortable with cold calling and outreach, and can maintain accurate documentation while following opportunities through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
● Research and identify government agencies, municipalities, contractors, and other qualified prospects

● Identify relevant government contracts, bids, RFPs, RFQs, and procurement opportunities

● Research government websites, procurement portals, directories, and other relevant sources

● Build and maintain organized lists of government leads, agencies, contacts, and opportunities

● Identify relevant decision-makers, procurement contacts, purchasing departments, and project managers

● Conduct cold calls and outbound outreach to prospective government and commercial contacts

● Introduce the company’s services and identify potential opportunities for new business

● Follow up consistently with prospects and potential opportunities

● Review government opportunities and determine whether they align with the company’s services

● Complete and organize forms, paperwork, and required lead documentation

● Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, contracts, opportunities, and outreach activity

● Track deadlines, responses, follow-ups, outstanding balances, and relevant opportunity information

● Communicate qualified leads, questions, payment issues, and important opportunity details promptly

● Assist with other sales, business development, lead generation, and account follow-up tasks as needed

Required Qualifications
● Professional experience with government lead generation, government contracts, sales, or business development

● Experience researching government agencies, contracts, solicitations, bids, RFPs, or RFQs

● Strong cold calling and outbound prospecting experience

● Strong written and verbal English communication skills

● Ability to conduct detailed online research and identify qualified opportunities

● Experience completing and organizing forms, paperwork, and business documentation

● Strong outreach and follow-up skills

● Ability to identify decision-makers and relevant government contacts

● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

● Ability to manage multiple leads, opportunities, follow-ups, and outstanding items

● Experience communicating professionally regarding outstanding balances or payment-related matters

● Reliable availability for 20 hours per week

● Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications
● Experience generating leads specifically for government contractors or service businesses

● Experience researching government contracts, bids, RFPs, RFQs, or procurement opportunities

● Familiarity with government procurement portals and contract databases

● Experience identifying opportunities related to construction, demolition, hauling, junk removal, or property services

● Experience working with government agencies, municipalities, general contractors, or commercial organizations

● Familiarity with CRM platforms or lead management systems

● Experience with outbound sales, business development, and appointment setting

● Experience with accounts receivable, payment follow-up, or collecting outstanding balances

● Experience collaborating remotely with sales teams, business owners, or project managers

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, persistent, organized, and receptive to feedback. They can research government opportunities, identify qualified leads, and translate that information into organized and actionable sales opportunities.

They should be dependable, proactive, and comfortable with cold calling, outreach, follow-up, and completing required documentation while maintaining accurate records. They should also be comfortable taking ownership of outstanding balances and following up professionally until those balances are resolved.
