We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our product team and elevate our platform's interface and user journeys to world-class standards.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end design lifecycle, converting complex AI capabilities into intuitive, elegant solutions for recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates alike. Working directly from our Barcelona office, you will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to refine our core features, improve conversion rates, and lower time-to-hire for thousands of organizations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Product Design: Lead the design process from initial user research, visual discovery, and wireframing to high-fidelity UI design, prototyping, and developer handoff.
• Complex Workflow Simplification: Craft seamless user interfaces for intricate AI interaction systems, including automated video interviewing dashboards and multi-lingual candidate matching flows.
• Design System Stewardship: Maintain, evolve, and scale Alfa AI’s cohesive design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and visual polish across all desktop and mobile applications.
• User Research & Validation: Conduct qualitative user interviews and quantitative usability testing to gather actionable insights, turning candidate and recruiter feedback into iterative product updates.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering and product management teams in Barcelona to balance design aesthetics with technical feasibility and product strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven Design Track Record: Solid experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or Interaction Designer working on modern B2B SaaS platforms or enterprise software.
• Strong Portfolio: A compelling portfolio demonstrating your design process, user-centered thinking, system architecture, and polished visual UI executions.
• Mastery of Modern Tools: High proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, design systems management, and user journey mapping.
• Data-Informed Approach: Demonstrated ability to combine creative visual design with user metrics, behavioral analytics, and continuous feedback loops.
• Strong Communication: Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and developers.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience designing conversational interfaces, AI-driven tools, or complex workflow automation platforms.
• Familiarity with the HR Tech, talent acquisition, or recruitment market dynamics.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS capabilities and front-end development constraints.
