A leading VC fund is looking for a Head of Social to make the firm more visible, timely, and connected to the momentum across its portfolio. This is a senior content role, with a salary range of $200–250k, and can be remote in the US or hybrid from the New York office. The role will help translate the fund’s investment worldview into sharp, platform-native content across X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Substack Notes, and other short-form channels.
You will own the fund’s social presence: running the feeds, maintaining a consistent posting cadence, and reacting quickly to relevant news, launches, milestones, cultural moments, founder activity, and portfolio updates. You will monitor priority companies, draft posts, quote tweets, replies, founder spotlights, and short-form commentary that amplifies momentum while tying each company back to the fund’s broader narrative.
The ideal candidate is highly native to social media, especially X/Twitter and LinkedIn, with strong venture capital awareness, excellent taste, and a sharp sense of how ideas spread online. This is not just a posting role — it is a narrative, community, and network role. You will turn long-form ideas, essays, podcasts, memos, and investor notes into timely short-form content, while building the systems behind the output: calendars, watchlists, voice guidelines, AI-assisted workflows, evergreen idea backlogs, and a process for spotting interesting founders, operators, writers, and creators in the fund’s orbit.
