Job Title: Outbound Sales Specialist (Insurance)
Location: Cape Town (Office-based, in-person)
Working Hours: 3:00 PM — 11:00 PM SAST (to cover UK, EU, and US time zones as required)
Salary: ZAR R15,000 - R22,000 + commission

Our client is an AI-driven insure-tech company providing digital insurance validation solutions for contractors placed by leading international recruitment firms. Their proprietary tools enable seamless insurance compliance validation across the UK, Europe, and USA, helping recruitment agencies and contractors onboard quickly and securely.
Role Purpose
To drive the insurance validation and sales conversion process for newly placed contractors (primarily warm/assigned leads) by executing outreach, explaining insurance requirements, and closing the sale for Jove’s proprietary insurance products. The role blends compliance advisory with consultative selling and requires high accountability, professionalism, and work ethic.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume outbound calling (target: 80 conversations per day) to newly placed contractors, primarily warm leads generated through agency partners.
- Serve as the first point of contact for insurance validation, explaining the purpose and necessity of business liability insurance in a regulated environment.
- Guide contractors through the insurance validation process:
- If they already have insurance, collect/upload documents for validation via internal AI-driven CMS.
- If they do not, educate them on the clients product features, generate digital quotes in real-time, and convert them to sales.
- Complete full end-to-end sales cycle: from call, quote creation, objection handling, document collection, to policy close and onboarding.
- Maintain detailed, accurate logs of all activity and call recordings using HubSpot, Hubstaff (for time tracking/activity monitoring), and internal CMS tools.
Required Profile
Must-Have:
- Prior experience in high-volume outbound sales/call center environment (ideally in insurance, fintech, SaaS, or regulated industry).
- Demonstrated ability to close sales and take ownership for the full cycle (from prospect to final signature) - Essential
- Consultative selling approach; able to clearly explain technical/regulated products (preferably with experience in insurance/product compliance selling).
- Track record meeting/exceeding quotas and thriving in a fast-paced, commission-driven role.
- Professional, trustworthy communicator — both verbal and written.
- Able to work late hours to accommodate US-based clients (critical for this market).
- Strong tech-savvy: able to navigate CRM and tracking platforms (HubSpot, Hubstaff), quick to learn new SaaS platforms, and adept with laptops/smartphones.
