Role Overview
We are a high-growth, venture-backed B2B SaaS startup revolutionizing how businesses leverage data. We are seeking a driven and ambitious Account Executive to join our dynamic London-based team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities with C-suite executives. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target C-suite decision-makers within our ideal customer profile, primarily in the data tools and analytics space.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and clearly articulate our value proposition, tailoring presentations to address the specific needs and pain points of senior executives.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasting and reporting to sales leadership.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey and provide valuable market feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2-6 years of B2B sales experience, specifically within a SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of success in a closing role at a Pre-seed, Seed, Series A, or Series B stage company.
- Demonstrable experience selling complex technical or data-oriented products to C-level executives.
- Exceptional academic background from a leading university.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, or other formal sales methodologies.
- A strong existing network of contacts within the data, analytics, or technology sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales enablement tools.
