Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise, design, and edit thumb-stopping paid social assets tailored for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Assemble raw footage, UGC, and brand elements into punchy, high-converting video edits, utilising motion graphics, text overlays, and dynamic pacing.
  • Translate client briefs and performance insights into fresh creative iterations, rapidly developing variations to support ongoing A/B testing.
  • Adapt visual identities across varying formats and aspect ratios while ensuring visual cohesion across all deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to brainstorm campaign ideas and iterate based on real-time campaign performance data.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record as a paid social designer and video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing performance-driven social media ads.
  • Hands-on experience working with direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, specifically within the wellness, fitness, or beauty sectors.
  • High proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator) or equivalent design and video software.
  • Strong understanding of paid social creative mechanics, including hook rates, retention drivers, and platform-native trends.
  • Based in the United Kingdom with the ability to manage freelance project timelines efficiently and independently.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience sourcing, briefing, or directing UGC (User Generated Content) creators.
  • Knowledge of direct-response copywriting to assist with hooks and on-screen call-to-actions.
  • Familiarity with Figma for asset preparation and cross-team collaboration.
