
My client is a digital transformation consultancy operating as market-leading specialists in the Financial Services world.
We are looking for an experienced Sales/ Business Development Director to take the business to the next level. With an existing portfolio of high-profile clients, there is a huge opportunity for growth.
If you have extensive knowledge and experience selling digital solutions (Product, Data, CRM, Cyber Security, etc) to the Life Insurance, Wealth Management or Retirement solutions (Pensions, investment products, etc) sectors, I'd love to hear from you.
The Role
· Identify and develop market opportunities for digital transformation solutions in the FS industries.
· Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and design tailored solutions.
· Lead and close new business sales efforts, including proposals, presentations, and strategic partnership growth.
· Oversee the end-to-end execution of data-driven transformation projects.
· Balance hands-on involvement with delegation to build scalable delivery models & products.
· Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
· Establish thought leadership and contribute to industry discussions.
The Person
· Extensive sales / business development experience, ideally selling solutions/consulting/analytics/product within the UK Financial Services industry.
· Knowledge / connections in the Life Insurance, Wealth Management or Retirement solutions sectors is a huge benefit.
· Deep understanding of the end-to-end digital solutions lifecycle, including strategy, governance, data engineering, analytics, AI, and business intelligence.
· Strong commercial acumen and ability to take data solutions from concept to market.
· Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.
· Some degree of exposure to technical / data delivery is a benefit.
· Highly pro-active and accountable.
