Geo-Mapping Driver - Brodarica

Role Overview *(Fluency in English required)*

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Geo-Mapping Driver for a 3-6 month contract. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality, street-level imagery to update and expand a globally used mapping product for a leading technology company.

This self-employed role involves operating a specialised vehicle and requires flexibility for travel. A fully equipped vehicle is provided, and all project-related fuel, travel, and expenses will be reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a specialised vehicle to capture street-level imagery, adhering to assigned routes, schedules, and daily/weekly distance targets.
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment safety checks, including a mandatory breathalyser test, and perform routine maintenance.
• Accurately complete all required daily and weekly reports on progress, quality control, and time logs using a smartphone.
• Manage logistics for vehicle collection/drop-off, which will require travel.
• Represent the project professionally and courteously when interacting with the public.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing
• Must reside in or near the advertised location and be able to commit to the full contract period.
• Hold a full, clean Croatian driving license and be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Ability to secure safe, overnight parking for the specialised vehicle (e.g., locked garage, driveway or secure parking).
• Physically able to access the vehicle's roof to adjust camera equipment.

Nice-to-Have

• Previous professional driving experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with route planning or logistics.
• Basic technical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
