Role Overview

We are seeking an Expert Procurement Manager to join our global technology sourcing team. This is a senior-level contract position responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for high-value, complex technology deals. You will leverage your deep sourcing expertise to lead negotiations, author contracts, and build strategic relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Your primary goal will be to achieve significant cost savings and secure best-in-class terms for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and complex negotiations for technology contracts with a total value of $5 million or more.
  • Manage the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) process, from development and review to supplier selection and award.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and key technology suppliers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct contract authoring, editing, and management, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and business requirements.
  • Perform market analysis, forecasting, and reporting to drive strategic procurement decisions and achieve substantial financial savings targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of strategic procurement and sourcing experience (purchasing experience is not sufficient).
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in technology sourcing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading negotiations for complex deals with a total contract value of $5 million or more.
  • Proven expertise in contract authoring and editing.
  • Experience leading and supporting interactions with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Post-secondary education in Finance, a related field, or a Procurement Designation (e.g., SCMP, CIPS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Proven experience sourcing and negotiating deals with AI providers.
  • Strong understanding of procurement law and regulations.
  • Exceptional business and financial acumen, with a track record of achieving financial targets (e.g., individual savings of $5MM).
