Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, working closely with developers and product managers to identify, document, and resolve bugs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, create, and execute manual and automated test cases for new features and existing functionality.
- Identify, record, and meticulously track bugs, and perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure full test coverage.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with performance and/or security testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
