Electrician

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in domestic properties. You will ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems according to technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Adhere to all national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Carry out a range of electrical repairs, installations, and fault-finding in domestic settings

Required Skills and Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Proven experience working as an electrician in residential and/or commercial environments.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
• Full UK drivers license
