Alfa Demo Inc. is looking for an experienced SAP FICO Lead to take ownership of our financial systems landscape based in London, United Kingdom. In this role, you will bridge the gap between finance operations and cutting-edge technology, leading design, implementation, and continuous improvement across our SAP financial modules. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver robust, compliant, and scalable accounting and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FI and CO modules to support business operations.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for core finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
- Partner with finance and accounting teams to gather requirements, translate operational needs into technical specifications, and oversee system enhancements.
- Oversee integration points between SAP FICO and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process continuity.
- Direct testing cycles, cutover planning, user training, and post-go-live support for financial system releases.
- Ensure financial system architecture aligns with regulatory compliance, audit standards, and internal controls.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration, implementation, and support across multiple full lifecycle projects.
- Proven track record leading SAP finance functional streams or cross-functional project teams.
- Strong domain knowledge of financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) practices and reporting standards.
- Experience managing complex system integrations, data migrations, and financial interfaces.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical finance leaders.
Nice-to-have
- Direct experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or implementations.
- Relevant SAP certifications in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting.
- Working knowledge of complementary modules such as SAP MM, SD, or BPC.
