Senior Project Manager - Live Events

London / Hybrid (2 days per week) | Permanent, Full-Time | Operations | Circa. £50K-£55K

Big brands. Bigger stages. Global reach.

Do you thrive when a project spans three continents, six suppliers, and a client who expects nothing short of extraordinary? Are you the person a room turns to when the brief gets bigger, the deadline gets tighter, and the stakes get higher?

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager who has cut their teeth in the fast-paced world of events agencies, delivering large-scale conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, activations and incentive programmes that don't just meet client expectations, they exceed them.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to coast. It's for a proven leader who wants to run complex, high-value accounts, build a team around them, and leave every event better than they found it, commercially, creatively, and sustainably.

What you'll be doing

Owning the big stuff. You'll lead the delivery of complex, large-scale events from first brief to final report - managing multi-supplier logistics, onsite delivery, and everything in between.

Leading people, not just projects. You'll manage a team of Project Managers, Senior Project Executives, and Project Executives - coaching, developing, and holding the standard high.

Growing real relationships. You'll hold your own portfolio of client accounts, becoming the trusted partner who spots the next opportunity before the client even asks.

Making the numbers work. From budget management and supplier negotiation to invoicing and post-event reconciliation, you'll bring commercial sharpness to everything you touch.

Thinking global. Sourcing venues and DMCs, coordinating ground programmes, managing time zones, and delivering flawlessly - wherever in the world the event takes you.

Doing it responsibly. Sustainability isn't an afterthought here - it's built into the plan, pitch, and delivery.

What you bring

  • 6+ years in a fast-paced agency environment, delivering corporate events including conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, activations, incentive trips - at scale
  • Proven experience managing large, complex, global projects end-to-end
  • A track record of leading and developing a team
  • Confidence managing client accounts as well as event production
  • Hands-on experience with Cvent or a similar delegate registration platform
  • A network of trusted industry suppliers and contacts you're not afraid to put to work
  • The composure to run multiple concurrent projects without dropping a single detail
  • A genuinely creative mindset - you don't just execute a brief, you elevate it

Why this role

  • Scale that matters. These aren't small activations - you'll be shaping events that make an impact on a global stage.
  • A seat at the table. Real client relationships, real commercial ownership, real influence over how projects are won and run.
  • A team that grows with you. Direct reports, development responsibility, and genuine investment in your leadership.
  • A culture built on craft. Creativity, quality, and sustainability aren't buzzwords here - they're how we measure success.
  • Flexibility. Hybrid working from our London base, with international travel when the project calls for it.
