SAP FICO Lead

As our SAP FICO Lead, you will take full ownership of our core financial systems, translating complex global finance requirements into robust, scalable SAP solutions that keep our rapid international expansion on track.

In this high-impact lead role, you will bridge the gap between enterprise finance and cutting-edge technology. You will architect end-to-end Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, guide cross-functional teams through complex system enhancements, and ensure our financial architecture seamlessly supports a business operating across multiple borders, currencies, and tax regimes.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Lead SAP FICO Strategy: Design, configure, and deploy scalable SAP FI/CO solutions tailored to support our global AI recruitment platform and expanding international operations.
• Drive End-to-End Implementations: Lead full-lifecycle SAP projects—from initial business process mapping and blueprinting to hands-on configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
• Partner with Finance Leadership: Act as the strategic technology advisor to key business stakeholders, translating commercial finance needs into precise technical requirements.
• Ensure Compliance & Optimization: Manage global tax, multi-currency, and financial reporting setups while continuously auditing system performance to optimize automated financial workflows.
• Cross-System Integration: Oversee seamless integrations between SAP FICO and external platforms, including billing engines, HR tech, and custom AI platform tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven Leadership in SAP FICO: Extensive hands-on experience designing and configuring SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Communication) and SAP CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing).
• Full-Lifecycle Project Delivery: Demonstrated track record of leading at least two end-to-end SAP FICO implementations or major global upgrade initiatives as a Lead Consultant or Architect.
• Global Finance Expertise: Deep understanding of multi-company code environments, international tax frameworks, IFRS/GAAP standards, and intercompany reporting.
• Integration Mastery: Solid technical understanding of SAP integration points with OTC (SD), P2P (MM), and third-party SaaS financial applications.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex SAP architecture to executive business leaders.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or native S/4HANA cloud environments.
• Background working within high-growth SaaS, AI, or technology-driven business models.
• Exposure to automated billing systems, revenue recognition modules (RAR), or custom API integrations.
• Relevant SAP certifications in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting.
