Alfa Technology Recruitment is looking for a versatile and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to join our team in a permanent, hybrid role based in our vibrant London office. In this role, you will be the heart of our people operations, balancing strategic support with hands-on day-to-day HR delivery to ensure our team has everything they need to succeed and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Employee Lifecycle: Manage everything from seamless onboarding and induction to offboarding, ensuring a warm and supportive experience at every stage.
  • Employee Relations & Advisory: Serve as the trusted first point of contact for team members and managers, offering fair, constructive guidance on HR queries and policy interpretation.
  • Performance & Development: Partner with team leads to support performance management processes, career development initiatives, and internal training programmes.
  • Policy & Compliance: Keep our HR policies up to date with UK employment law, ensuring our practices remain modern, fair, inclusive, and legally compliant.
  • HR Systems & Data: Maintain our HR database with high attention to detail, generating meaningful insights to help us continually improve the employee experience.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven HR Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience working in a dedicated HR Generalist or HR Advisor role, ideally within a fast-paced or growing business.
  • Solid Employment Law Knowledge: A strong foundational understanding of UK employment law and best practice HR procedures.
  • Exceptional Communication: Natural warmth and empathy with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities with a calm, organized outlook.
  • CIPD Qualification: CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification (or equivalent practical experience demonstrating a commitment to HR best practices).

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working within the recruitment, technology, or professional services sectors.
  • Exposure to managing or supporting payroll administration and employee benefits schemes.
  • Active interest in modern diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives.
