If You’re Tired of Shipping Code That Doesn’t Matter — Build Something That Fixes Healthcare Payments
What’s in it for you
You’ll be one of the first engineers in a startup that’s already secured $6.5M in funding — which means stability and the freedom to shape things your way.
From day one, you’ll:
- Build features that go straight into production (no endless backlog limbo)
- Work directly with the CEO and Director of Engineering — your ideas won’t get lost in layers
- Own problems end-to-end, from customer feedback to deployment
- Help define the engineering culture, standards, and architecture
Which means… you’re not just writing code — you’re building a platform and a company around it
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
- Designing and shipping full-stack features using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Turning messy, complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights
→ So your work actually solves real-world problems, not just technical ones
- Shaping architecture decisions early
→ Which means no legacy headaches later
- Collaborating closely with leadership on product direction
→ So you influence what gets built, not just how
Where you’ll be doing it
A mission-driven startup tackling one of healthcare’s biggest inefficiencies: payments.
Quick story:
- Healthcare payments are notoriously complex and error-prone
- Billions are lost annually due to inefficiencies
- Building a payment intelligence platform to change that
With $6.5M already raised, you’re joining at the point where:
- The risk is reduced
- But the opportunity to shape everything is still wide open
What you’ll need
- 3+ years as a Full-Stack Engineer (with a backend lean)
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Confidence working in fast-moving environments where priorities shift
- The ability to break down complex data and systems into something usable
Bonus points if you:
- Have worked in HealthTech or Fintech
- Have been an early or founding engineer before
What you’ll get (beyond the obvious)
- Real ownership — your work directly impacts the product and users
- A seat at the table for technical and product decisions
- The chance to build something meaningful in healthcare (not just another SaaS tool)
- A fast-moving environment where good ideas get shipped — not buried
