Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our Regulatory and Business Insights team at a top-tier Canadian bank. This critical role supports a high-visibility Cyber and IT Risk Remediation program, ensuring the bank fulfills its regulatory obligations by addressing and remediating identified issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Support: Create and maintain performance metrics, lead working groups, and ensure project timelines are strictly met across multiple lines of business.
  • Requirement Definition: Read and interpret complex regulatory rules to define robust business solutions and requirements.
  • Control Development: Build and implement process and database-driven controls around business solutions to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and present progress reports to senior executives, Technology partners, Risk, and Internal Control teams.
  • Documentation: Produce high-quality project documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs) and executive presentation decks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Project Management capacity within the Banking or Technology sectors.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale regulatory or compliance-driven projects.
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

  • Direct experience with Cyber Security remediation programs.
  • Specialized knowledge in IT Risk Management frameworks.
