Role Overview
We are seeking a technically proficient JobAdder API Support Engineer to join our growing integration team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for developers and partners looking to integrate their systems with the JobAdder recruitment platform. You will bridge the gap between technical complexity and user-friendly solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and high-quality integration performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical support to third-party developers and clients regarding RESTful API integration and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
- Troubleshoot complex API errors, identify bugs, and collaborate with the engineering team to deploy fixes.
- Maintain and improve technical documentation, including API guides, SDK examples, and FAQs to empower self-service resolution.
- Review integration code and offer architectural advice to ensure efficient API usage and rate-limit compliance.
- Monitor API performance metrics and proactively communicate maintenance windows or breaking changes to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and JSON data structures.
- Proven experience in a technical support or developer relations role.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or C#).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Prior experience working specifically within the Recruitment Tech or HR Tech ecosystem.
- Knowledge of webhook implementations and asynchronous event handling.
