Carpenter

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both rough and finish carpentry, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. You will be responsible for working on a variety of residential and commercial projects, from framing and structural work to installing cabinetry and trim.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of carpentry repairs in domestic homes and void properties
• Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, and other materials for framing, structures, and fixtures.
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, flooring, trim, and cabinetry, ensuring all work meets safety standards and building codes.
• Collaborate effectively with other construction professionals, including contractors,, decorators and plumbers, to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in a domestic setting.
• NVQ Level 2 or higher in Carpentry or a similar trade
• Full UK driving licence
• In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques, methods of installation, and construction.
• Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.
• Strong understanding of and commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
