Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a U.S.-based insurance agency. This position is crucial in providing exceptional client support by handling policy servicing, addressing coverage inquiries, processing policy modifications, and aiding the agency's administrative processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in an insurance agency or brokerage and possess the ability to manage policy servicing tasks while maintaining professional communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries regarding insurance policies
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and updates
  • Assist with certificate of insurance requests
  • Support policy renewals and follow-ups
  • Update and maintain client records in agency management systems
  • Communicate with carriers when necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions

Required Skills

  • Previous experience working for an insurance agency or brokerage
  • Strong written and verbal English communication
  • Customer service experience
  • Attention to detail and strong organization
  • Comfortable working with CRM or agency management systems
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple requests

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with insurance agency management systems such as Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft, or EZLynx
  • Experience servicing policies such as Home, Auto, Commercial, or Business insurance
