Dual Regional Security Officer

Are you a dedicated security professional looking to make a visible impact across dynamic sites? Lodge Security is looking for a committed Dual Regional Security Officer to safeguard client premises, people, and property across Cheltenham and Ross-on-Wye. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role where your vigilance and professionalism ensure our customers’ operations remain secure and resilient day and night.

As a core member of the team, you will rotate across key regional locations, delivering high-standard protective services and acting as a trusted ambassador for Lodge Security. From managing access points to monitoring premises, you will play an essential role in incident prevention and maintaining total site integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall security and integrity of assigned customer sites across Cheltenham and Ross-on-Wye.
• Conduct regular patrols, monitor activity, and operate multiple on-site protection systems to prevent incidents.
• Manage entry and egress points, carrying out strict identity checks on staff and visitors.
• Perform physical security screening, including routine person and vehicle searches.
• Respond promptly to on-site alarms, potential threats, and security incidents while delivering detailed handover logs.

Required Skills & Experience

• A current, valid SIA licence (Door Supervision or Security Guarding).
• Proven capability in access control procedures, identity checks, and search protocols.
• Demonstrated experience in routine site patrolling and premises protection.
• Flexibility to work varied 8- to 12-hour shift patterns, covering days, nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer service and incident management.
• Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).

Nice-to-have

• A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable, road-worthy personal vehicle to support travel between sites.
• Previous experience providing multi-site or regional relief security coverage.
