Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Immigration Adviser to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to our corporate clients on all aspects of UK immigration law, with a specific focus on employer sponsorship. You will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance and providing a seamless service for their sponsored employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive advice to employers on the Points-Based System, including Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) allocation and management.
- Manage and maintain the Sponsor Management System (SMS) for multiple corporate clients, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare and submit a range of applications, including sponsor licence applications, renewals, and various visa categories for sponsored workers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering timely and accurate guidance on immigration queries and changes in legislation.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks to ensure clients meet their sponsorship duties and obligations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- OISC/ IAA Level 1 (or higher) accreditation is essential.
- A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in UK corporate immigration.
- Proven experience advising employers on sponsor licence applications, CoS, and SMS management.
- Strong understanding of the UK's Points-Based System and immigration rules.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
