Job Title: Commercial Administrator
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Reports to: Commercial Director
Responsible for: Supporting the Commercial Team

Main Purpose of the Role
As a Commercial Administrator, you will support the Commercial Team by undertaking day-to-day administrative duties. This includes adding contracts to the company database, organising documentation, managing drawing registers, and learning about the commercial aspects of the business.
Key Activities
Drawing Management:
- Set up and manage the Drawing Register from Tender Issue to Construction Issue.
- Support with spreadsheets and schedules.
- Respond to enquiries quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure the drawing register is always up to date.
- Maintain and update drawings as appropriate.
Drawing Control:
- Copying, scanning, and producing issue sheets when required.
- Maintain and update links to drawing files.
- Send revised drawings to all relevant parties.
- Undertake comparisons of revised information.
- Input data into spreadsheets for analysis.
- Update and maintain records and associated tasks within the Commercial Department.
Key Results
- Provide efficient and accurate support to the Commercial Team in drawing administration and management.

Qualifications:
Experience (Essential):
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent organisation skills.
Experience (Desirable):
- Previous administration experience within a construction environment.
- Document control experience.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong organisational and planning ability.
- Good relationship-building skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction (desirable).
