  • Lead and develop the entire finance function, overseeing all aspects of financial operations including month-end close, management accounting, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and treasury management.
  • Drive the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making across the business.
  • Act as a key commercial finance partner to the wider business, particularly supporting operations, supply chain, and brand management teams with analysis on stock, logistics, pricing, and profitability.
  • Ensure the financial control environment is robust and scalable, implementing and improving processes and systems to support high growth.
  • Manage key external relationships, including auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners, ensuring compliance and optimising financial arrangements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (e.g., Head of Finance, Financial Controller, Finance Director) within a high-growth, complex business.
  • Demonstrable experience managing the full scope of a finance function, from technical accounting and controls to commercial FP&A.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience within the retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods sectors.
  • Specific understanding of the financial dynamics of brand development, inventory management, supply chain, and logistics.
