Role Overview
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Manager, Supplier Risk Management to join our Supplier Management Office within the Capital Markets division. This role is pivotal in supporting our global business partners by managing the lifecycle of third-party suppliers, with a specific focus on low-criticality engagements. You will be a key contributor to our supplier management framework, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and driving process efficiencies through performance monitoring and control reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Management: Oversee supplier performance monitoring activities, managing stakeholder attestations and questionnaires to ensure timely completion and adherence to standards.
- Service Organization Control (SOC) Reviews: Collect, review, and document SOC reports for the Capital Markets portfolio, ensuring they meet compliance requirements. Coordinate annual reviews, track remediation of control gaps, and escalate critical issues.
- Supplier Risk Management Assessments (SRMAs): Act as the primary contact for suppliers and internal business units throughout the supplier lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. Assist in conducting third-party risk assessments and due diligence to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in supplier management, risk management, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage supplier-related documentation and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience at a Canadian Financial Institution.
- Experience in Cyber Security or supplier acquisition projects.
- Familiarity with commercial purchase contract language and risk assessment frameworks.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets.
- Experience with GRC tools such as Archer.
