Based in London on a permanent, full-time hybrid arrangement, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, turning architectural concepts into reliable, production-ready software.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to established design patterns and coding standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the software development lifecycle, contributing to code reviews and technical discussions.
- Implement comprehensive automated testing strategies to ensure system stability, resilience, and software quality.
- Manage source code and collaborate effectively using branching strategies and pull requests within modern version control systems.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the application stack to maintain peak operational performance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and clean code principles.
- Practical experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab, including branching models and peer reviews.
- Proven track record in testing and quality assurance, encompassing unit testing, integration testing, and automated test suites.
- Demonstrable debugging capabilities and a systematic approach to identifying and fixing defects.
- Current right to work in the United Kingdom, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with API design and integration, working with REST APIs, HTTP protocols, web services, and JSON.
- Familiarity with database management, including data modeling, SQL, relational databases, NoSQL platforms, and query optimization.
