Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Membership Travel Agent to join our team in Leeds. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary point of contact for our travel members, guiding them from initial onboarding through to booking their dream trips and providing comprehensive pre and post-travel support. You will also manage our relationships with travel suppliers, securing exclusive deals and ensuring seamless post-booking processes. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for customer service, excellent organisational skills, and a proven background in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end member journey, including onboarding, travel consultation, booking, and post-trip follow-up to ensure exceptional satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers to negotiate exclusive deals, special offers, and added value for our members.
- Handle all booking and post-booking administration, including documentation, amendments, and query resolution, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyse member travel patterns and feedback to identify trends, inform strategy, and continuously optimise service delivery and internal processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a travel agent or customer relationship management role within the travel industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a sales and customer-driven mindset.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and strategic planning abilities.
- Must live within a commutable distance of Leeds, England.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Demonstrated success in a role that combines sales targets with high customer satisfaction metrics.
