Typical Day in Role:
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Product Control, and Financial Engineering teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Canada, particularly Product Control teams.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into clear specifications for development teams.
- Develop detailed documentation, including business requirements, workflows, and process diagrams.
- Perform gap analysis between current and target states and propose scalable solutions aligned with business and regulatory needs.
- Leverage domain expertise in equity and fixed income products to support project success.
- Operate within an Agile environment, participating in ceremonies such as sprint planning and stand-ups.
- Support production issue analysis and resolution.
- Utilize RiskWatch as the pricing engine.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including experience with documentation, ability to create workflow diagrams, business requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in capturing business requirements for building a Derivate Products Trading Application covering Trade Capture, Integration with Pricing Models.
- 5+ years’ experience with market data used to price derivative instruments
- 5+ years’ experience with Trade Life Cycle for derivative products events such as Amend, Unwind, Rate Reset or Fixing Process and Realized Cashflows.
- 2+ years’ experience with risk watch pricing engine.
Familiar with end-to-end trade workflows among the Front, Middle and Back Offices systems.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Advanced Knowledge of derivative financial instruments related to Equity Options, Interest Rate Swap, Cap/Floor, Inflation asset swaps
- Unix Scripting
- Python Scripting
- Pl/SQL
- Automated testing experience

Bachelor's degree
CFA/FRM an asset
