DTC Operations Lead
We're looking for a DTC Operations Lead to own end-to-end operational excellence across our e-commerce channels, supply chain, and customer retention. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where you'll directly influence profitability, customer experience, and revenue growth directly reporting to the Founder / CEO.

The Role
Your Mandate (Key Areas of Ownership):
- DTC Operations & Customer Retention: Own Shopify/Recharge subscription operations, build retention programs, and optimize customer lifetime value (LTV).
- Amazon & Marketplace Management: Own Amazon channel strategy, inventory optimization, and agency relationships.
- Supply Chain & Fulfillment: Manage manufacturer relationships, 3PL coordination, and multi-channel inventory planning.
- Operational Excellence: Create systems, track metrics, and proactively solve problems before they become crises.
What You'll Own
DTC Operations & Customer Retention
- Own Shopify/Recharge platform and retention programs.
- Build and execute retention initiatives (winback flows, pause vs. cancel optimization, health scoring, loyalty).
- Analyze cohort retention data and identify drivers of churn.
- Improve subscription management experience and customer journey touchpoints.
- Track retention KPIs and report weekly progress.
Amazon & Marketplace Operations
- Manage daily Amazon performance (stock levels, pricing, advertising, rankings).
- Optimize product listings, A+ content, and brand presence.
- Oversee and hold Amazon agency relationships accountable.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities (new products, bundles, promotions).
- Coordinate Amazon inventory with multi-channel supply chain.
Supply Chain & Fulfillment

Manage relationships with manufacturers and packaging suppliers.

Coordinate with fulfillment agency (3PL) for accurate inventory and timely shipping.

Forecast demand and manage multi-channel stock planning to avoid stockouts/excess inventory.

Troubleshoot operational issues and implement processes for efficiency.
Operational Excellence & Reporting
- Create dashboards and tracking systems for operational metrics.
- Proactively identify risks and escalate issues with solutions.
Document processes and SOPs for scalability.
- Support cross-functional projects (website optimization, app launch, new product releases).
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves:
- 3-8 years of experience in DTC e-commerce operations, subscription business, or marketplace management.
- Proven DTC subscription operations expertise (Shopify, Recharge, customer retention, LTV optimization).
- Amazon/marketplace competency (Seller Central, FBA, advertising, inventory management).
- Ownership mentality—you see problems and solve them independently.
- Supply chain or fulfillment experience (managing 3PLs, manufacturers, multi-channel inventory planning).
- Data-driven operations—you track metrics, verify numbers, and make decisions based on evidence.
Nice-to-Haves:

Subscription business experience (Recharge, Bold, Shopify subscriptions).

Consumer brand experience (pet, health, wellness, or premium DTC).

Startup/scale-up experience (comfort with ambiguity, multiple hats, building processes).

E-commerce tech stack familiarity (Klaviyo, fulfillment tools).

Agency management experience.

- Amazon-only operators with no DTC subscription understanding.
- Purely strategic roles without hands-on execution.
- Agency-side only experience (we need in-house operational ownership).
- Lack of proactive accountability or ownership examples.
