Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our forward-thinking, growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our alternative investment products and cultivating long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, and professional investors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong, existing network of these clients and a proven track record in selling sophisticated financial products. Excellent commission packages available to 150% of base salary
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales efforts for our diverse investment products, including listed and unlisted securities, fixed-term bonds, and other alternative investments.
- Develop and nurture a robust pipeline of new business opportunities by leveraging your extensive network.
- Collaborate closely with internal product and investment teams to structure bespoke solutions that meet the complex needs of sophisticated clients.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrable track record of success in a business development or sales role, specifically focused on selling alternative investments (e.g., private bonds, unlisted securities) to HNWIs and Family Offices.
- An extensive and portable network of high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and professional investors.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Deep understanding of the alternative investment landscape and complex financial products.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working directly with in-house products or product providers within the alternative investment sector.
- Proven ability to manage and grow a network of external introducers or brokers.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are highly advantageous.
