Alfa Demo Inc. is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Manager to oversee our end-to-end electronic discovery operations in New York, United States. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) framework, driving data identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production. You will serve as the critical technical and operational bridge between internal legal teams, IT stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring that all data handling meets the highest standards of legal defensibility, efficiency, and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete eDiscovery lifecycle across all litigation, regulatory, and investigative matters, adhering strictly to established EDRM processes.
  • Design, implement, and maintain defensible data collection and preservation protocols in close collaboration with internal IT and information security teams.
  • Manage data processing, hosting, and document review workflows, ensuring accurate search syntax, deduplication, and quality control.
  • Coordinate and supervise technical deliverables from external vendors, litigation support providers, and outside legal counsel to maintain agreed timelines.
  • Deliver expert technical consultation to case teams on data analytics, technology-assisted review (TAR), and production specifications.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Substantial hands-on experience managing eDiscovery workflows and litigation support operations.
  • Advanced technical proficiency with standard legal hold tools and industry-standard review platforms such as Relativity.
  • Strong, practical working knowledge of the EDRM and standard litigation lifecycle requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating complex data collections from varied enterprise sources, cloud platforms, and local storage environments.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to articulate technical data matters clearly to legal practitioners.

Nice-to-have

  • Relevant industry certifications, such as Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS) or Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA).
  • Familiarity with structured data extraction, database querying, or basic scripting to support custom data workflows.
  • Experience with cross-border data privacy regulations and international data transfers.
