Joining us on a permanent, full-time basis, you will take ownership of core development work within a collaborative hybrid setup. In this role, your technical craft and practical problem-solving will directly influence our codebase, ensuring our systems remain robust, scalable, and built to last.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in alignment with modern engineering best practices.
- Design and implement data structures, algorithms, and core system architectures that address real-world business needs.
- Collaborate closely with peers through thorough code reviews and constructive technical feedback.
- Manage version control effectively using Git, maintaining clear branching strategies and pull request workflows.
- Partner with team members to diagnose issues, resolve technical bottlenecks, and continuously refine our applications.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong foundations in software development, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proven experience applying coding best practices and sound system design principles to real-world projects.
- Solid hands-on expertise with version control systems using Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Practical familiarity with collaborative development workflows, including managing pull requests and branching structures.
- Right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with testing and quality assurance, including unit testing, integration testing, debugging, or test-driven development (TDD).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and containerisation technologies such as Docker.
- Previous background working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira for sprint planning and cross-functional work.
