You’ll collaborate with a wide range of teams and specialists, contribute to the quality and safety culture on site, and help keep the project moving smoothly from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a mission-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Ensuring Quality On-Site:
- Take an active role in observing and reviewing construction works to ensure everything meets project and industry standards.
- Be present for key tests such as concrete pours, cable checks, and pre-commissioning activities and help document results.
- Help identify issues early and support the team in resolving them through the NCR process.
2. Supporting Progress & Scheduling:
- Keep a close eye on daily and weekly progress so the project stays on track.
- Spot potential delays or challenges and communicate them early to help the team find effective solutions.
- Review contractor updates to ensure reported progress reflects what’s really happening on site.
3. Championing Safety & Environmental Care:
- Help foster a strong safety culture by ensuring that safety plans, RAMS, and relevant requirements are always followed.
- Use your authority to pause activities that don’t meet safety expectations, supporting teams in correcting issues promptly.
- Take part in regular safety walkdowns, discussions, and incident follow-ups.
- Promote responsible environmental practices, from waste management to spill prevention and ecological protection.
4. Keeping the Site Running Smoothly:
- Act as a key link between the Owner, engineering teams, and contractors helping to keep communication clear and productive.
- Support the alignment of on-site activities with project permits and authorizations.
- Help lead coordination meetings and contribute to solving day-to-day challenges.
- Assist with managing access routes, laydown areas, and overall site logistics.
5. Supporting Reporting & Documentation:
- Create structured and informative daily and weekly reports that keep the broader team up to date.
- Collect and review as-built documents, test certificates, and relevant records needed for project completion.
- Play a role in preparing documentation for final acceptance and operational readiness.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: At least 5 years in civil construction or large industrial projects, including time spent as a Site Manager or Owner’s Representative in wind energy.
- Technical Strengths: Solid experience with Balance of Plant (BOP) activities from civil works to electrical infrastructure.
- Nice to Have: Background or qualifications in electrical engineering.
- Languages: Strong English communication skills (written and spoken). German skills are an advantage but not required.
Why This Role Matters
This position gives you the chance to directly influence the successful buildout of renewable energy infrastructure. You’ll join a meaningful project, work closely with skilled teams, and contribute to a safer, more sustainable future.
