Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling of stock, ensuring that all goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely. This role is vital to maintaining our supply chain efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Organising and storing inventory in designated warehouse areas to optimise space and accessibility.
- Picking, packing, and labelling orders accurately for dispatch according to shipping schedules.
- Operating warehouse machinery, including pallet jacks and trolleys, in accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items consistently throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator's licence (Reach or Counterbalance).
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or handheld scanning devices.
- First Aid certification.
