Role Overview

Alfa AI is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief AI Officer (CAIO) to lead our global artificial intelligence initiatives. As the ultimate authority on AI within the organization, you will be responsible for setting the company-wide AI strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the ethical and effective implementation of AI technologies to solidify our position as a world leader. This executive role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic business acumen, and exceptional leadership to guide our company into the future of intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term AI strategy that aligns with our core business objectives and drives significant competitive advantage.
  • Lead and mentor our world-class teams of AI researchers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Oversee the entire AI development lifecycle, from conceptualization and research to deployment and continuous improvement of large-scale AI systems.
  • Establish and enforce robust governance and ethical frameworks for AI development and deployment, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability.
  • Act as the primary AI evangelist and thought leader, representing Alfa AI at industry conferences, with key partners, and to the board of directors.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of AI, VP of Data Science) with a proven track record of defining and executing AI strategy at a large scale.
  • Deep technical expertise in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and large language models (LLMs).
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary AI/ML teams.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business outcomes and communicate effectively with C-level executives.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience with AI policy, governance, and ethical frameworks.
  • A portfolio of published research in top-tier AI conferences or journals.
