London · Contract · Hybrid

Our Client; an independent B2B content marketing agency based in London, is looking for a versatile Freelance Videographer & Motion Graphics Designer. Operating on a full-time, rolling contract (outside IR35) with the potential to transition into a permanent role, this position will see you take full ownership of video projects from initial shoot to final delivery. Working across hybrid, studio, and on-location setups, you will collaborate closely with the Creative Director to translate strategic ideas into high-impact visual content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end video production cycle across varied client briefs, handling everything from pre-production planning to post-production and final delivery.
  • Direct and capture high-quality footage on location, within corporate environments, and inside the agency’s dedicated studio using an extensive in-house kit.
  • Assemble, brief, and lead external production crews when projects scale beyond solo shoots.
  • Edit, grade, and animate predominantly short-form video (averaging 90 seconds) alongside occasional long-form pieces reaching up to 10 minutes.
  • Develop custom motion graphics and visual assets from scratch, as well as elevating existing client assets and supplied footage.
  • Partner with the Creative Director to experiment with fresh creative treatments and integrate modern production tools into daily workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated background as a videographer, filmmaker, or motion designer, with proven experience in an agency or client-facing setting.
  • Outstanding camera operation, lighting, and cinematography skills across diverse shooting environments.
  • Advanced post-production proficiency using Adobe Premiere Pro for tight, narrative-led editing.
  • Strong motion design expertise in Adobe After Effects, capable of creating refined 2D motion graphics and kinetic typography.
  • A comprehensive showreel that highlights your visual storytelling ability, technical craft, and experience with branded or corporate content.
  • Solid communication and organisation skills, with the agility to adapt smoothly when live productions shift.

Nice-to-have

  • Practical experience incorporating generative AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Higgsfield) into creative ideation, storyboarding, or production workflows.
  • Experience sourcing, booking, and directing specialised freelance crew members for larger commercial sets.
