Alfa Demo Inc. is seeking a focused, driven Litigation Associate to join the team in Washington, United States. In this role, you will immerse yourself in sophisticated civil defense matters, managing the intricacies of asbestos, toxic tort, product liability, and mass tort claims. You will take ownership of substantive casework, collaborate on overall case strategy, and advocate vigorously on behalf of clients facing complex liability disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage active case files across complex asbestos, toxic tort, product liability, and mass tort defense litigation.
• Draft critical pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and substantive legal memoranda.
• Direct and execute comprehensive discovery, including drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and managing electronic discovery.
• Prepare for, conduct, and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on overarching litigation strategy and trial preparation.
• Represent clients during court appearances, hearings, and settlement negotiations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active, good-standing bar admission to practice law in Washington.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience defending toxic tort, asbestos, product liability, or mass tort litigation matters.
• Sharp legal research, analytical, and writing capabilities with a proven record of drafting persuasive motions.
• Confident oral advocacy skills with experience handling depositions and courtroom appearances.

Nice-to-have

• Prior experience collaborating with medical, scientific, or engineering expert witnesses in mass tort actions.
• Background handling complex multi-party dispute resolutions and settlement conferences.
• Proficiency in state-of-the-art litigation support and legal research technologies.
