Role Overview
We are seeking a high-calibre Fullstack Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in London. We are a high growth AI InsurTech and this role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about building sleek, responsive user interfaces but possesses a solid foundation in robust backend systems. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between design and implementation, ensuring a seamless user experience across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, responsive frontend components using React and modern CSS-in-JS libraries.
- Architect and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using C# and the .NET framework.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Optimise application performance for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring code quality through rigorous testing.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the evolution of our technical standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer with a strong emphasis on frontend technologies, specifically React.
- Solid professional background in backend development using .NET or C#.
- Ability to commute to our London office three days per week (Hybrid model).
- Strong understanding of modern web standards, state management, and asynchronous programming.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with TypeScript and modern build tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
