Investment Associate

At Alfa AI, our proprietary AI recruiter, Lisa, operates 24/7 across borders and languages to conduct video interviews, streamline hiring timelines, and cut recruitment costs. As we expand our footprint, we are seeking an Investment Associate to join our team on-site in London on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing rigorous financial analysis, evaluating strategic opportunities, and driving data-led investment decisions that fuel our mission to revolutionise global recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, refine, and stress-test sophisticated financial models, including DCF, LBO, three-statement, and custom valuation models with detailed sensitivity analyses.
• Conduct detailed financial statement analyses, cash flow assessments, EBITDA normalisations, and valuation benchmarks via trading comparables and precedent transactions.
• Spearhead commercial and financial due diligence across target markets, assessing competitive dynamics, industry trends, and strategic positioning.
• Prepare comprehensive investment committee presentations, authoring detailed investment memos, IC papers, pitch decks, and executive summaries.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to present clear, evidence-based transaction recommendations and strategic insights.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in financial modelling, with proven expertise in building three-statement forecasts, DCF frameworks, and LBO structures from the ground up.
• Strong background in corporate valuation methodologies, precedent transaction analysis, and financial statement scrutiny.
• Hands-on involvement in managing investment due diligence workflows, including commercial evaluations and competitive benchmarking.
• Track record of preparing clear, concise investment committee papers, management presentations, and executive summaries.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice-to-have

• Exposure to portfolio management and monitoring, including tracking key performance indicators and compiling board reporting packs.
• Experience evaluating add-on acquisitions and supporting value creation initiatives within growth-stage or technology-led businesses.
