We’re hiring a Leasing & Tenant Engagement Specialist to help fill and manage 60 mobile home units over the next few months. This role is a mix of leasing, customer communication, and follow-up. You’ll be the person guiding prospects from first inquiry all the way to signed lease - and beyond.
This is not just an admin role. You must be highly conversational, proactive, and persuasive - your job is to make prospects choose our properties over the many other options they’re considering.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Leasing
- Respond to inbound inquiries (calls, texts, messages) quickly and professionally
- Speak with prospects and build strong rapport to drive interest in our properties
- Schedule property showings and confirm attendance
- Follow up aggressively with prospects before and after showings
- Guide prospects through the application process and push for completion
- Review rental applications for completeness before submitting for approval
- Track each prospect’s status and keep pipeline organized
Listing Management
- Manage and update listings across platforms:
- Zillow
- MH Village
- Trulia
- HotPads
- Facebook Marketplace & Groups
- Ensure listings are accurate, attractive, and optimized for conversions
Coordination
- Work with property supervisors to ensure showings happen smoothly and on time
- Collect feedback from supervisors after showings
- Relay updates between prospects and internal team
Tenant Retention & Growth
- Manage lease renewals and follow-ups
- Build relationships with tenants
- Help convert renters into mobile home owners where possible
Requirements
- Strong English communication - must sound natural and conversational on calls
- Confident on the phone - not robotic, able to build trust quickly
- Sales mindset - you’re guiding people to choose this property
- Highly organized with strong follow-up habits
- Experience with leasing, real estate, property management, or customer service is a plus
- Comfortable managing multiple conversations and leads at once
- Familiar with platforms like Zillow, Facebook Marketplace, etc. (or quick learner)
- Reliable internet and ability to handle calls during U.S. hours
